あたり前のように感じていた日常の風景が “たからもの” だと気づいたのは，2011年3月11日の東日本大震災の後でした。宗教や宗派を超えて祈る「鎌倉の祈り」は、鎌倉の地に何百年も前から受け継がれてきた ソコヂカラ を教えてくれました。小坊主のボンズくんは、この忘れられない体験のなかから誕生しました。
まだまだ知らない、まだまだ気づいていない “たからもの” と出会ったり 見つけたりしたら、そのワクワクやドキドキを 心が動くままに、ボンズくんとお伝えしていきたいと思っています。一緒に楽しんでいただけたら うれしいです。
IIt was only after the Great East Japan Earthquake of 11 March 2011 that I realised the everyday scenes I had taken for granted were treasures. The “Prayer of Kamakura”, a prayer transcending religions and sects, taught me about the inherent strength passed down through the town of Kamakura for hundreds of years. Little monk Bons-kun was born amidst this great disaster and something like hope.
I hope to steadily share with you the many treasures of Kamakura that remain unknown, unnoticed, or yet to be discovered—to find them, learn about them, and delight in them… simply following where my heart leads. I would be delighted if you would join me in this enjoyment.
